Toby Rogers is an award winning author and investigative journalist
from New York .He has written for the New York Times, New York Post,
the Village Voice, High Times, Clamor Magazine, and Houston’s Public
News. Additionally he has also been featured on MSNBC’s Countdown with
Keith Olbermann, Democracy Now, with Amy Goodman as well as the
National Enquirer.

Rogers was involved in the republication of J. H. Hatfield’s George W.
Bush biography Fortunate Son, when St. Martins Press recalled the book
in 1999 and Soft Skull Press republished it in 2000. He was a
consultant and was featured in HBO’s Horns and Halos, a documentary on
Hatfield and Fortunate Son. In 2002 and 2003, the film went on to win
"Best Documentary Award" at film festivals in New York, Chicago, and
Melbourne Australia.

Since the book was historically the first biography on George W. Bush.
Rogers accompanying introduction to Soft Skull’s Fortunate Son made
the case that the book may contain untrue and inaccurate information,
but no less so than many biographies of President Bill Clinton that
were never taken off bookstore shelves.

In 2004, Trine Day Press published Toby Rogers' first book, Ambushed,
Secrets of the Bush Family. It was highly acclaimed and featured in
newspapers and magazines in America and internationally. The New York
Times describes Rogers as “a hell of a journalist,” and Ambushed as
